BRANDS' USAGE OF ADVERTISING

I guess it's clear to any mature human being that bands use advertising to strengthen and alter a brand's imagine. I personally think that advertising is the best channel for a brand to survive and get to the top. It makes sense though in such a way that advertising creates a distinctive and a very lasting brand image that consumers will be able to remember and be able to associate positive values with. Advertising reaches a large audience by positioning and keeping a brand at the top of our minds as consumers.

Coca-cola is known to be the biggest brand in the entire world with more than 100 years experience in advertising. It grew to become what it is today and made it to the top leading brand in the world, simply because of its partnership with advertising to create an appealing brand personality for themselves. Coca-cola has and is still using advertising as their main source of its success, through the print media, online advertising, press, digital, broadcast and outdoor.www.coca-cola.com. I mean Coca-cola has done it all which led them to their amazing performance and always on top of their game. The brand sponsors major events such as Football matches which serve them as creating publicity to the large diverse audience watching the match live as well as those watching in the comforts of their homes and various places of watching the match. Just to wrap it up, I have no doubt that brands' survival and success lies in the hands of advertising.
nice blog! it is important for brands to advertise in the mass media to gain brand awareness and preferences,also to reach out to the broader audience. advertising is important whether is to promote a product or to create awareness. brands that uses advertising effectively creates a strong brand name for themselves e.g coke,Nandos,Nike etc.

ReplyDeletethis is very true! a brand would not survive in this competetive market without any form of advertising. Even the big brands like Coke still choose to advertise regardless of the size of the franchise and all organizations etc should follow in these footsteps

ReplyDeleteWe come across the different types of advertisements in our day-to-day life. They have invaded every aspect of our day to day dealings, our conversations, our thoughts and to a certain extent control our behavior as customers and consumers of goods and services.
Attractive advertising increases the demands of public which directly boost sales of the brand.
In terms of television, people do not get to see all the ads that play during an ad break, some people tune to other channels because they avoid ad breaks, so I think for television, advertisements of brands will not create much impact.
