I guess it's clear to any mature human being that bands use advertising to strengthen and alter a brand's imagine. I personally think that advertising is the best channel for a brand to survive and get to the top. It makes sense though in such a way that advertising creates a distinctive and a very lasting brand image that consumers will be able to remember and be able to associate positive values with. Advertising reaches a large audience by positioning and keeping a brand at the top of our minds as consumers.

Coca-cola is known to be the biggest brand in the entire world with more than 100 years experience in advertising. It grew to become what it is today and made it to the top leading brand in the world, simply because of its partnership with advertising to create an appealing brand personality for themselves. Coca-cola has and is still using advertising as their main source of its success, through the print media, online advertising, press, digital, broadcast and outdoor.www.coca-cola.com. I mean Coca-cola has done it all which led them to their amazing performance and always on top of their game. The brand sponsors major events such as Football matches which serve them as creating publicity to the large diverse audience watching the match live as well as those watching in the comforts of their homes and various places of watching the match. Just to wrap it up, I have no doubt that brands' survival and success lies in the hands of advertising.

The common reason of advertising has gotta be of that brands will get publicity, I mean how else can the brand's target audience be aware of their products and services?Advertising is considered to be a massive advantage to new or small brands coz people don't know they exist, therefore those developing brands can reach their target audience and let the public know who they really are. Let's be realist now,would you buy"foereeya"(does not exist)if you came across it in a store?obviously your first thought would be "what on earth is foereeya?"and why is that?because you never heard/seen it before and that is where advertising comes in.....CREATING AWARENESS/PUBLICITY!!!!

Although there are many importance which might be that brands are enable to market their products and services in easy and quick ways via mass medias and social networks. Its clear to me that advertising actually has ways of increasing the brand's profits and promoting sales. Let's just face it, brands that don't use  advertising ARE DIGGING THEIR OWN GRAVES. Though advertising costs a fortune but it is set to be a good investment for a brand's survival, surely you just cannot expect people to buy your product that they have never seen or heard of and i know for a fact that i would not buy one
